Hinh T. Dinh is currently President of Economic Growth and Transformation, LLC in Great Falls, Virginia, USA, Senior Non-Resident Fellow, Policy Center for the New South in Rabat, Morocco, and Senior Research Fellow, Indiana University, Bloomington, IN, USA. Previously he spent over 35 years at the World Bank Group, holding a variety of senior assignments in all three complexes of the Bank (Operations, Finance, and Research). His last position was Lead Economist in the Office of the Senior Vice President and Chief Economist of the World Bank. He received his B.A. in economics, his B.S. in mathematics from the State University of New York, his M.A. in economics, his M.S. in industrial engineering, and his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Pittsburgh. He has authored and coauthored books published by the World Bank, Oxford University, Policy Center for the New South (Morocco), and articles in professional journals covering public finance, international finance, industrialization, and economic development.
