Description of PhD research project
The question is in different contexts, such as when individuals encounter a negative event versus when they are given new information, how do their risk perception and social preferences change in response to new messages? Do they persist or diminish over time in such contexts? To achieve the research objectives, we conducted a number of experiments and surveys in both rural and urban Vietnam. The results could serve as a basis for making appropriate policy recommendations to address different issues, from climate change adaptation to health improvement.
