Description of PhD research project
My PhD research project aims to explore three aspects related to child overweight/obesity, including the economic impact of having an unhealthy weight, the risk factors associated with obesity and the effects of sharing research results on correcting nutritional perceptions and behavior. These objectives are achieved through regression on secondary data and experimental method with primary data. The results will help to broaden understanding about situation of double burden of malnutrition in Viet Nam, contributing to the literature on this topic in a developing country.
