Description of PhD research project

My research interests include gender issues in finance and development economics with a focus on gender differences in financial knowledge, intra-household behaviors and decision-making. I am particularly interested in employing survey-based methods and experimental designs to examine how gender shapes financial attitudes, bargaining dynamics, and resource allocation within households. Through these approaches, I aim to generate empirical evidence on the mechanisms underlying gendered economic behavior and their implications for inclusive development and policy design.
